AM via powder bed

A laser beam is used to melt the metal powder. Manufacturing of complex parts is allowed, based on laying and selective processing of thin layers in the order of tenths of millimeters. High resolution and accuracy are benefited. A laser sintering machine EOS M270 Xtended is available, a number of powders and blends are capable of being processed, including but not limited to, titanium alloys, Ni-base alloys, steels and aluminum alloys.
